Skills
- Ability to draw polish or grind die cavity surfaces using required tools or equipment
- Proficient in building and replacing segments, cores, details, and parts from blueprints
- Skilled in performing welding duties in both the foundry and Die Repair Department
- Capability to train new employees effectively
Responsibilities
- Receive instructions and information from Team Leader and/or Supervisor
- Transport, clean, disassemble, repair, and reassemble casting and trim dies
- Build and replace components as per blueprints
- Troubleshoot production tooling issues and perform necessary repairs
- Maintain documentation such as forms, die work orders, and records
- Keep the work area and equipment orderly and clean
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervision
Qualifications
- Must be able to perform highly skilled tasks and solve complex problems
- Up to 2 years of training required; on-the-job training available for those without prior experience
- Tool & Die Repair Journeyman Papers are advantageous but not mandatory
Education Requirements
- Associates Degree, trade or technical school certification, or journeyman certificate
Education Requirements Credential Category
- Technical or trade school education in relevant fields

- Up to 2 years of specific training required for this position
- Must complete 2 years of on-the-job training if minimum experience is not met
