Skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and parts specifications
- Strong communication, attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Comfort in fast-paced, noisy environments with chemical exposure
- Experience with newly installed machines and equipment, such as palletizers and conveyors
Responsibilities
- Install, diagnose, and repair electrical systems and machinery components
- Plan and install power supply wiring and conduit for machines
- Test and adjust electronic components and wiring
- Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment
- Maintain and organize the maintenance area
- Utilize maintenance systems for daily duties
- Document work order completion
- Support predictive and preventative maintenance programs
- Perform safety observations and support SQF 2000 Systems development
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 24 years of maintenance electrician experience
- Flexible with work hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry is a plus
