The Sr. Compound Engineer will be responsible for developing new tire compounds that meet optimal performance standards required for customer approvals. This role entails maintaining and enhancing the performance of existing tire compounds and designing laboratory studies to evaluate new compound technologies. The engineer will seek out new materials technologies and perform forensic analysis on both new and tested products. Additionally, there will be collaboration with development engineers on OEM and Replacement projects concerning compound selections and performance expectations.
