Test Technician - Fort Walton Beach

The Test Technician in Fort Walton Beach, FL, will be responsible for building, testing, troubleshooting, and performing services and repairs on electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies, or systems. This role requires a US Citizen or Green Card holder to work effectively within a team to ensure timely shipments while diagnosing test failures and implementing corrective actions.

Skills

• Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multi-meters
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic assemblies to the component level
• Strong understanding of reading and interpreting assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions

Responsibilities

• Perform diversified test operations and troubleshoot electronic assemblies
• Work closely with the assembly team to ensure timely shipments
• Diagnose test failures and coordinate corrective actions
• Calibrate electronic test equipment and ensure all equipment is in working order
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machines
• Manage time effectively to meet production schedules and budget
• Provide accurate and timely status updates on production and returns
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop test procedures and policies
• Train, mentor, and lead junior technicians
• Assist Engineering personnel in developing tests for new products

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a test technician
• Advanced experience with MS Office suite
• Knowledge of digital and RF electronics circuit functionality and troubleshooting
• Successful completion of electronic technician training is a plus

Education Requirements

• Associates degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent is preferred
