Responsibilities

  • Estimate and manage bridge and road construction projects from start to finish
  • Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to develop accurate cost estimates
  • Analyze and interpret project blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs
  • Prepare take-offs, scope of work, and bid packages for projects
  • Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to obtain quotes
  • Analyze bid results, prepare detailed proposals, and cost estimates for clients
  • Monitor project progress and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and project team members
  • Develop project leads and coordinate all project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of project documentation, including contracts and reports

Qualifications

  • Minimum education level of a bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in bridge and road construction estimation
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
  • Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
  • Experience with Self-Performing or Specialty Contractor
  • Experience in sales/marketing is a plus

  • Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
