Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design electrical controls for packaging machinery
  • Collaborate with teams on R&D projects
  • Provide engineering support for field service technicians
  • Customize programming based on customer needs
  • Conduct initial commissioning and debugging of machinery
  • Create wiring schematics and program diagrams
  • Support customer service with programming of replacement components
  • Execute other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant electrical design experience
  • Proficient in CAD software for electrical design documentation (SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD)
  • In-depth knowledge of PLC hardware, software platforms, and HMI programming
  • Experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs or CODESYS PLC systems
  • Familiarity with IEC programming languages
  • Web development skills are preferred (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, Python, Visual Basic)
  • Valid drivers license with the ability to travel
