Sr. Electrical Design Engineer

The Sr. Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for conceptual design, component specification, system hardware design, and programming. Responsibilities

• Develop and test new designs for high-speed automation packaging machines

• Provide support to field service technicians and deliver technical training as necessary
• Work collaboratively with engineers to solve design problems

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience in capital equipment design and service
• 7-10 years of related experience in high-speed automation and electrical design
• Proficient in CAD software for electrical design documentation (e.g., SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD)
• Experience designing Stepper motor, Servo, and touchscreen-controlled capital equipment systems; packaging experience a plus
• Excellent knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC systems
• Strong organization, communication, and project management skills
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel up to 20%, including internationally
