Skills
- 8+ years of electrical engineering design experience in the building services and construction industry
- Experience in sectors such as Higher Education, Museums, Commercial, Transportation Hubs, and/or Stadiums
- Proficiency in Revit
- Familiarity with computational analysis tools like electrical fault analysis and lighting design software
- Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems
- Strong client-facing and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem-solving abilities with the capacity to provide multiple solutions to clients
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and other engineers
- Produce detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, and reports
- Manage workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians
- Prepare Technical Specifications and monitor the financial performance of jobs
- Mentor junior Electrical Engineers
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and building codes
- Proactively communicate and raise concerns regarding deadlines and workload
Qualifications
- Relevant bachelor or masters degree
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification desirable
- LEED AP accreditation preferred
