About the job Facilities Maintenance Manager
The Facilities Maintenance Manager will be instrumental in overseeing the maintenance operations at Oral Roberts University, a conservative, faith-based university in Tulsa, OK. This role requires a strong background in Facilities Management within higher education, exceptional people skills to manage a multi-generational team, and a solid understanding of managing large complex properties. You will report directly to the Director of Facilities and manage a team of 30 Maintenance Technicians across 41 buildings, including administrative and student dorms.

Responsibilities
- Supervise all outside contractors and vendors
- Oversee facilities staff, including training and HR functions

- Perform facilities maintenance functions as required

- Responsible for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Implement SDX programs, policies, and safety procedures
- Ensure operational capability of mechanical systems across multiple buildings
- Manage scheduling and workflow
Qualifications
- Must have an Associates degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years of management experience
- 2 years of work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations, or engineering services
- Experience in managing large complex properties and maintenance technicians in various trades
