Skills
- Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions
- Proficiency in navigating and interpreting ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software
- Experience in modifying positions and diagnosing problems on ABB robots (Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700)
- Competency in both gas and electric welding operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement effective repair procedures
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in manufacturing equipment
- Install, move, and align both new and existing equipment
- Set up and operate various types of machine shop equipment accurately d* Maintain accurate machine repair records and a neat work area
- Perform preventive and proactive maintenance tasks on plant equipment
- Carry out other duties as assigned by supervision or the designated team leader
Qualifications
- 4+ years of related experience in Allen Bradley, Hydraulics, Robotics, and Welding
- Experience in troubleshooting die casting machine cells using PLCs and electrical/hydraulic schematics
Education Requirements
- Technical or vocational education (certificates or some college courses)
