Project Manager - Rochester

The Project Manager will provide management oversight for a top 50 nationally recognized glazing contractor throughout all phases of construction projects. This role involves coordinating installers, materials, and equipment while ensuring compliance with specifications and maintaining schedules and budgets.

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience

Responsibilities

• Understand general construction processes and learn the glass aspect
• Develop cost-effective plans and schedules for project completion
• Coordinate projects with contractors, architects, owners, and involved parties
• Verify estimates with detailed reviews of proposals and specifications
• Coordinate with CAD throughout the shop drawing process
• Assume responsibility for safety, quality, and productivity of glaziers
• Monitor material and equipment efficiency and contractual performance
• Complete projects within allocated budgets
• Track and control project schedules and communicate accordingly

• Attendance at construction meetings as necessary
• Ability to maintain maximum efficiency under pressure
• Willingness to perform additional assignments as directed by management
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
