Responsibilities
- For EIT:
- Assist in generating project deliverables, including plan design and production, specifications, and other assigned tasks for water/wastewater treatment systems
- Produce design plans, specifications, and reports for municipal water/wastewater infrastructure projects, such as treatment plants and pump stations.
- For PE:
- Maintain project schedules and budgets, providing updates as needed
- Assist the Project Manager with construction administration tasks, including submittals and contracts
- Provide oversight and supervision of internal staff and external parties to ensure efficient project completion
Qualifications
- Minimum BS in Civil Engineering (MS degree preferred)
- PE certification or EIT required for respective roles
- For EIT: Minimum 1 year of experience in municipal water/wastewater design
- For PE: Minimum 5 years of experience in municipal water/wastewater design, with experience in drainage design as a plus
- Experience in project management/construction administration is strongly preferred for PE
- Experience in design/calculations of water/wastewater plant infrastructure and collection/distribution systems
Education Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- Masters degree preferred but not required
Education Requirements Credential Category
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required for respective roles
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in municipal water/wastewater design for EIT role
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience for PE role
- Experience working with municipalities and project management is a plus
