Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and execute assurance engagements (compilations, reviews, and audits)
- Analyze and assess financial statements and internal controls
- Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior team members, providing constructive feedback
- Handle and prepare complex transactions and work with clients on technical matters
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, standards, and practices
- Foster client relationships to ensure timely and effective information gathering and resolution
- Perform other job-related duties as necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of prior experience in public accounting
- Stable work history
- Proven knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
- Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Caseware and Datasnipper preferred
- CPA certification is desirable, but not mandatory
