Responsibilities:

    • Drafting, reviewing, revision, and negotiating various contracts, license agreements, system development agreements, system maintenance agreements, and other relevant formal documents in English and Japanese.
    • Assist in contract signing, execution, tracking, and managing.
    • Assist in optimizing corporate internal control systems, especially international and cross-subsidiaries communications, and corporate compliance.
    • Assist in compiling corporate governance and other relevant law requirements and enforcement for company formation, investment projects, and due diligence.
    • Work with outside attorneys or consultants on related matters.
    • Execute other related legal affairs or projects as assigned by the supervisor.

    Requirements:

    • Proficiency in Japanese and fluent in English.
    • At least 5 years of experience in relevant industry corporate legal affairs.
    • Knowledge of IP and copyright laws, entertainment laws, and internet technology laws relevant practical experience.
    • Flexible and creative thinking, good communication skills.

    Nice to Have:

    • Education in Japan is a plus.
    • Content licensing, digital development or licensing, and relevant industry experience are preferred.
    • Having handled corporate internal process optimization projects is preferred.
