Responsibilities:

• Design and develop test automation frameworks for API and UI testing, prioritizing code quality and maintainability
• Write clean, well-documented test automation code covering unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Create test strategies by identifying risk areas and collaborating with development teams to improve coverage
• Develop test tools and utilities (test data management, test reporting, environment provisioning)
• Build and maintain test pipelines in GitLab CI/CD with continuous quality monitoring
• Analyze test results and quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Define testing best practices and standards across the engineering team
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and mobile teams on testing strategy and product reliability

Requirements:

• 5+ years test automation, SDET, or equivalent testing expertise
• 3+ years API automation testing (REST APIs, test frameworks)
• 2+ years UI automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, JavaScript, Java, or similar languages
• Understanding of testing methodologies (unit, integration, E2E, performance testing)
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with SaaS and multi-tenant application testing

Nice to Have:

• AWS, Docker, Kubernetes experience
• Test data management and performance testing expertise
• SQL and database testing proficiency
• Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) experience
• Framework and tool development from scratch
