Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with relevant functional teams across the group to conduct business analysis and market research; identify key trends and changes in technology, market, and competition relevant to the group's business portfolio.
    • Assist in evaluation and execution of potential investment opportunities, financing activities, and investor relations.
    • Support the development and assessment of business cases and operational plans for strategic initiatives.
    • Track portfolio company performance and provide necessary assistance to support their growth.
    • Communicate findings and insights effectively to the team and to management.
    • Help develop high-level business and strategic thinking as a team member.
    • Handle ad-hoc tasks and special projects as needed to support the teams daily operations.

    Requirements:

    • Final year student or recent graduate (Bachelors or Masters); prior analytical, strategy, or investment related experience is a plus. Able to work 3 days per week, and can support 6 months.
    • Business-level fluency in both English and Mandarin is a must. Fluency in Japanese is a plus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
    • Solid foundational knowledge of accounting and financial modeling paired with strong business judgment.
    • Ability to synthesize information quickly and translate insights into a clear and persuasive story.
    • Humility and empathy; understanding issues through different angles.
    • Proactive mindset to anticipate and support business requests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of tasks.
    • Demonstrated ability to learn and grow quickly while performing diverse ranges of challenging tasks.
