Senior Manual QA Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our growing technology team in Athens.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of our web-based products through structured testing processes and close collaboration with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. You will play a key role in identifying issues early, improving testing practices, and helping deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing of web applications and platform features.
  • Design, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and testing scenarios.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
  • Define testing scope and contribute to test strategy discussions.
  • Maintain testing documentation and ensure testing standards are followed.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
  • Support release validation and regression testing activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Proven experience testing web applications and customer-facing platforms.
  • Experience creating and maintaining test documentation, test plans, and test cases.
  • Experience defining testing scope and testing approaches.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Experience using Jira or similar bug-tracking and project management tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent Greek and good English communication skills (minimum B2 level).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with Internationalization (i18n) and Localization (l10n) testing.
  • Previous experience in high-traffic digital products, gaming, or iGaming environments.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development processes.
