Job Description:
Payments Team Lead
We are looking for a Payments Team Lead with at least 5 years of experience in payment operations, including 2 years in a lead role. You will report to the Head of Payments and be responsible for the daily payments operation of an international online casino: withdrawal and deposit queues, the Payments Agents team, and day-to-day PSP communication.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Own the withdrawal and deposit queues: SLA per method, prioritization, and shift coverage
Lead the Payments Agents team: training, QA on approvals and rejections, and performance reviews
Act as a second pair of eyes on high-value withdrawals, and review chargeback and fraud patterns
Handle day-to-day contact with PSPs on declines, stuck transactions, and limits, and escalate to the Head of Payments where needed
Maintain payment SOPs, method-specific rules, and manual review criteria
Report on approval rates, processing times, and decline reasons in daily and weekly reports
Main Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payments operations in iGaming
At least 2 years of experience as a payments team lead or supervisor
Solid understanding of payment methods, PSP flows, chargebacks, and fraud patterns
Experience managing transaction queues against SLAs
Strong people management and QA skills
Comfortable working with back-office tools, PSP dashboards, and Excel/Google Sheets
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal
Ability to work on weekends depending on business requirements
