About Your Company
King Deux is partnering with a renown Asia family with legacy of generational wealth in expanding this headcount. We are looking for someone who speaks the family office languages to take on the challenge, manage principal money, bring in banker connections, oversee finance team and strategically work with family in the long run.
About your role
Strategic Advisory: Act as a key trusted advisor to executive management, formulating and executing sophisticated asset allocation and business strategies aligned with the family’s wealth objectives.
Market Intelligence & Product Expertise: Maintain a commanding grasp of global macroeconomic trends, sector movements, and diverse asset classes, ranging from traditional public equities and fixed income to complex derivatives, structured products, and alternative investments.
Deal Execution & Leadership: Lead and mentor an agile team of investment professionals to actively source, evaluate, and smoothly execute high-value cross-border investment opportunities.
Institutional Relations: Cultivate and steward strategic, professional partnerships with global investment banks, fund managers, and external institutional counterparties.
Governance & Operational Excellence: Build and institutionalize standardized operating procedures, robust risk management frameworks, and rigorous, transparent reporting mechanisms.
What you will need to succeed
Academic & Professional Pedigree: University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; a CFA charter or CPA designation is highly preferred.
Proven Leadership: A minimum of 10 years of seasoned investment experience, currently operating at the VP or Director level within prominent Family Office, external CIO, asset allocator
Market Track Record: A documented history of successful cross-border deal execution, ideally supported by an SFC Type 9 (Asset Management) licensed representative background.
Cultural Fit: Prior exposure to the unique dynamics of a Mainland Chinese family office or corporate culture is a distinct advantage.
Communication & Tech Mastery: Native/fluent command of English and Chinese (proficiency in Putonghua is highly advantageous); highly proficient in standard financial software and corporate presentation tools.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, high integrity, and a deep sense of ownership.
