About Your Company

We are representing a prominent, multi-billion-dollar single family office with deep roots in Hong Kong’s real estate ecosystem. Founded by one of the region’s most legendary property pioneers, the group operates a dual-engine investment strategy.

Real Estate Portfolio: An institutional-scale developer and investor with over 5 million square feet of gross floor area spanning luxury residential landmarks, premium commercial office towers, and high-end hospitality portfolios across Hong Kong, frequently executed via strategic joint ventures with top-tier listed developers.

Global Multi-Asset Portfolio: An in-house investment team managing an expansive, long-term global financial portfolio that spans public equities, fixed income, private equity, and venture capital.

About your role

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will serve as a key strategic partner to the Principal, Directors, and the Executive Committee. You will oversee the comprehensive financial ecosystem of both the massive real estate development pipeline and the multi-asset global investment portfolio. This role requires a balance of institutional real estate finance sophistication and agile family office asset management oversight

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Formulate and execute financial strategies that align with the family office’s long-term preservation and growth objectives across both real estate and liquid/illiquid investment portfolios.

  • Real Estate Corporate Finance: Oversee financial engineering, capital structuring, and debt strategies for mega-scale real estate projects. Formulate financial frameworks for complex joint ventures (JVs) with major market players.

  • Investment & Asset Management Oversight: Collaborate closely with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to evaluate the financial viability, tax positioning, and liquidity profiles of cross-border alternative investments (PE/VC) and global market holdings.

  • Treasury & Capital Markets: Maintain and leverage institutional relationships with major financial institutions, managing complex syndications, credit facilities, and liquidity planning across the entire group.

  • Family Office Governance & Risk: Champion robust corporate governance, institutional-grade risk management, and tax optimization/succession planning structures.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance, accounting, and corporate counsel team, ensuring accurate financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and multi-entity regulatory compliance.

What you will need to succeed

  • Proven Track Record: 15+ years of senior financial leadership experience, with a significant portion spent as a CFO, Finance Director, or senior corporate finance executive within a Top-Tier Hong Kong Property Developer or an Institutional-Scale Single Family Office with a heavy real estate allocation.

  • Joint Venture & Property Scale Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience navigating the financial complexities, accounting standards, and debt structures of major property development cycles, hospitality portfolios, and joint-venture frameworks in Hong Kong.

  • Cross-Asset Sophistication: Solid understanding of financial markets, private equity, and alternative asset classes beyond pure bricks-and-mortar real estate.

  • Impeccable Leadership & Standing: A strategic thinker with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Strong gravitas to influence board-level decision-making and build immediate trust with the family Principals.

  • Language: Fluency in English and Cantonese is essential; Mandarin proficiency is highly advantageous.
