About your role

• Make recommendations on investments in public markets. VP's will be undertaking analysis on companies within the IM team's universe, but also increasingly able to screen for and evaluate new potential targets that fit within the IM team investment philosophy and framework
• Independently assess and analyze (company financials, operations, management etc.) of investment targets, and write-up conclusions. Must be able to come to investment conclusion with relatively low input need from senior members
• Independently conduct financial, management and legal due diligence
• Financial projections model building to cater for structuring and sensitivity analysis
• Execution of documents of these investments
• Manage, develop relationship of invested companies and intermediaries
• Related ad-hoc tasks

What you will need to succeed

• 7+ years working in investment related roles
• Ability to understand drivers of business in different sectors, and make well timed recommendations
• Must have very strong modelling skills, ability to build models from scratch, an maintain live models for 20-30 companies
• Strong valuation methodology, able to integrate discounted cashflow, comp analysis, earnings forecasting and market timing into building a company fai value
• Judicious reasoning skills
• CFA or similar qualification preferred
