About Your Company

King Deux is partnering with a leading venture capital in identifying a Legal Counsel for one its acquired portfolio in Taiwan. We are looking to onboard someone with experience in Taiwan listed Co corporate and commercial, listing rules, corporate finance with aweb3

About your role

• Provide legal support for corporate actions, including board matters, capital increases, and shareholder-related transactions

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements

• Handle securities law compliance and regulatory filings

• Support venture fund management, including fund structuring, documentation, and compliance matters

• Assist in M&A transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and execution

• Independently manage and lead meetings with external counterparties, including law firms, regulators, investors, and other stakeholders

• Monitor and advise on developments in financial regulations and compliance requirements

What you will need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); advanced degree (LL.M.) is a plus

• Minimum 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in financial services, capital markets, or corporate law

• You will be LPA / FLAA qualified

• Solid knowledge of financial laws, securities regulations, and corporate governance

• Experience in venture capital / financial companies/ listed financial companies is preferred

• Prior exposure to cryptocurrency, blockchain, or digital assets is an advantage

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage directly with external stakeholders and regulators

• Fluent in English and Chinese
