Senior Manager, Destination Marketing | retail, entertainment, mall, tourism

Supported by the local government and neighbouring stakeholders, this iconic destination is ready to become a top-notch retail and entertainment destination for local shoppers and international tourists. The company is looking for an experienced and visionary leader in the retail / tourism and hospitality industry to drive the success of this premier destination.

You will play a crucial role in promoting the destination as an integral part of Hong Kong's vibrant tourism landscape. Your ability to identify and capitalize on emerging trends and your passion for marketing innovation will be instrumental in continuously enhancing the portfolio’s appeal and ensuring its ongoing success.


Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 6-8, including marketing and partnership, event management, digital marketing, tenant engagement, etc.

  • Cultivate strategic partnerships and sponsorships to support planned promotional programs, events, and happenings at the portfolio

  • Provide strategic guidance to continuously enhance the portfolio experience and address the dynamic needs of this premier Hong Kong attraction

  • Lead the marketing and promotional strategy, including events, social media, and website management, to drive vibrancy at the portfolio

  • Regularly liaise and meet with internal and external stakeholders

  • Engage with tenants to foster strong partnerships and collaborations, ensuring their needs are met and the overall tenant experience is optimized

  • Identify opportunities for tenant-driven initiatives and events to drive footfall and enhance the portfolio's appeal

Qualifications

  • Degree or above in marketing, business management, or a related discipline

  • Over 10 years of experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role, in business development, brand partnership, tourism, event management, venue management, or related industries

  • Self-motivated, creative thinker, and detail-oriented, with a drive to deliver high-quality work

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional time management skills, and the capacity to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Strategic mindset, analytical, innovative, dynamic, and collaborative team player

  • Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese + Mandarin) and English
