Head of HR (APAC, Regional) | FinTech, Crypto, FS

Powered by proprietary technology, its diverse portfolio of regulated financial institutions and fintechs specialize in multi-asset liquidity solutions, serving major global markets. The startup is looking for an experienced HR leader to cover Greater China / APAC and to help the company scale.
Responsibilities
Report directly to the Global Head of HR and lead a team of 4-5 HR professionals.
Collaborate closely with the Global Head of HR to craft and execute HR strategies that support the company's rapid growth and evolving business goals.
Develop and implement tailored HR policies, procedures, and initiatives for the company’s offices in Greater China and 1-2 key Southeast Asian markets
Oversee the full talent lifecycle, from attracting and hiring top talent to designing effective performance management and employee development programs
Manage employee relations, address grievances, and foster a positive, engaging work culture to retain our best people
Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations across the region
Streamline HR operations, including payroll, benefits, and record-keeping
Serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing data-driven HR insights and recommendations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field
15+ years of HR experience, with a proven track record of building and scaling the HR function in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Hands-on experience developing HR strategies and programs from the ground up in a startup setting
Excellent understanding of labor laws and regulations across Greater China and/or APAC
Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills
Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin / Putonghua)
