Partnership / Business Development / Sales Assistant Manager

The Company, a renowned retail corporation based in Hong Kong and with a significant presence in both Hong Kong and China, is currently hiring for the position of Assistant Manager in their Partnership & Business Development team. Specializing in the development and management of large-scale shopping malls and tourist complexes, the Company is seeking an exceptional individual to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with media companies and advertising agencies to sell advertising space and sponsorship opportunities within the mall's media and digital signage platforms
  • Proactively identify and pitch new advertising and sponsorship prospects, negotiate contracts, and manage the end-to-end sales process
  • Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of advertising and sponsorship activations
  • Analyze advertising and sponsorship performance data to optimize the mall's media offerings and revenue generation
  • Identify, pitch, negotiate, and secure partnership agreements for temporary or seasonal activations, pop-up shops, promotional events, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive activities, and new partnership models to identify innovative opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, media, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in partnership/business development, event marketing, media/advertising sales or a related field
  • Proven track record of identifying, securing, and managing successful partnerships and media/advertising sales
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English, presentation, and project management abilities
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique, engaging partnership concepts and media/advertising solutions
  • Familiarity with the media, advertising, retail, hospitality, and/or entertainment industries
