About Your Company

The Partnership and Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and managing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth, brand awareness, and customer engagement for the company. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute innovative partnership initiatives that align with the brand's vision and objectives. This role requires a keen understanding of the retail and art/culture landscape, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven successful partnership program management track record.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively research, identify, and evaluate potential partners (e.g. brands, artists, cultural institutions, and event organisers) that align with the company's brand, target audience, and business goals.

  • Develop and pitch partnership proposals that outline mutually beneficial collaborations, including co-marketing campaigns, event activations, content partnerships, and revenue-sharing arrangements.

  • Negotiate partnership agreements, manage contract negotiations, and ensure timely execution of partnership deliverables.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner relationships, maintaining regular communication and fostering strong, collaborative working relationships.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective co-marketing strategies, including joint content creation, social media amplification, and joint event planning.

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of partnership initiatives, generating reports and insights to inform future partnership strategies.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging partnership opportunities to identify new avenues for growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related role, preferably in the retail, shopping malls, or lifestyle industries.

  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating, implementing, and managing strategic partnerships that drive tangible business results.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify, evaluate, and pitch partnership opportunities.

  • Proficient in using data and analytics to measure the success of partnership initiatives and inform future strategies.

  • Creative, innovative, and agile, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and new partnership opportunities.
