(Assistant) Manager, Retail Marketing Promotions & Brand Partnership
A prominent corporation headquartered in Hong Kong, with diverse retail projects across Hong Kong and China, is seeking a dynamic (Assistant) Manager in Retail Marketing Promotions & Brand Partnership to join the Marketing, Promotions, and Partnerships Team for a flagship shopping mall in Hong Kong. Reporting directly to the Department Head, the successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, focusing on driving sales performance, tenant relationships, and brand partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction to foster win-win sales outcomes between landlords and tenants, while driving marketing partnerships and licensing income to support overall sales initiatives.
- Serve as the daily point of contact for tenant relationship management across a designated portfolio, building and maintaining strong collaborations to enhance service standards, operational efficiency, and sales action plans.
- Partner with tenants and internal teams to conceptualize, agree on, and deliver business-specific projects, including the development and implementation of branding, marketing, and communications strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
- Design and oversee tenant incentive mechanisms, evaluate their effectiveness, and propose innovative sales promotion ideas to drive mall traffic and revenue.
- Organize year-round events, festive celebrations, and promotional activities; disseminate operational information to tenants; and implement mall and retailer campaigns, including defining hero products from anchor and selected stores.
- Manage P&L for marketing and partnership activities, while executing public relations strategies encompassing media relations, community engagement, and enhanced brand visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in retail operations, marketing, promotions, and partnership development, preferably within large corporations or shopping malls; candidates with agency backgrounds or from property, retail, tourism, and entertainment sectors are encouraged to apply. (Candidates with less experience may be considered for Senior Officer level.)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills, complemented by a proactive, creative mindset to propose new ways of creating business value and driving partnership growth.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to liaise, influence, and interact effectively with diverse audiences, including tenants and stakeholders.
- Result-oriented with a commitment to timelines and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
