About Your Company

King Deux is partnering with an industry pioneer asset manager in growing its presence in Asia. Due to business needs, we are looking for an Institutional Sales to join a fast growing team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will lead and build the institutional sales effort across Asia, driving the expansion of our ETF business with institutional investors. The successful candidate will take the lead in capturing growth opportunities among sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, pension funds, private banks, and asset managers and gradually move up to a leadership role.

About your role

  • Lead the ETF distribution and sales efforts across Asia, developing and executing a comprehensive institutional sales strategy.
  • Build, manage, and mentor a dedicated institutional sales team to deliver on business growth objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with CIOs, portfolio managers, investment committees, and gatekeepers.
  • Partner closely with investment strategists, product specialists, and marketing teams to deliver customized ETF and multi-asset solutions.
  • Act as a senior client relationship executive, providing thought leadership and market insights to institutional clients.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle from prospecting and engagement to onboarding and execution.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market developments, and regulatory changes to inform continuous strategy refinement.

What you will need to succeed

  • 610 years of senior institutional sales or distribution experience in asset management, specializing in ETFs, index solutions or multi-asset funds.
  • Proven track record of institutional client relationship management and business development in Asia (including Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Japan, Taiwan).
  • Demonstrated leadership in building and managing sales teams.
  • Deep technical knowledge of ETFs, capital markets, and portfolio construction.
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive, excellent communication skills, and ability to influence C-suite clients.
  • Fluency in English, additional Asian languages a strong advantage.
  • Interested in exploring opportunities in crypto assets;
  • Strong initiatives and motivations;
  • Ability to work under pressure, with strong analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
