Vendor Development Coordinator
Job Description:
Reporting to the Vendor Development Director, we are currently looking for an individual to join our Vendor Development Department on a full-time permanent basis.
This role will be responsible for taking ownership of sourcing, onboarding and compliance of IT service vendors globally. The role will require you to work closely with our local dispatch team and US based management so excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills are crucial.

Responsibilities include all aspects of researching and identifying vendors that match our requirements and onboarding into our system so that we can assign work to them. To succeed in this job role, you should have good analytical and critical thinking skills. Your ability to effectively seek and identify vendors globally, as well as communicate workflow processes and policies with vendors will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and recruiting new vendors globally.
- Write job descriptions and post to relevant media platforms.
- Source potential candidates on niche online platforms.
- Perform pre-screening calls to analyze the technicians abilities.
- Developing and implementing vendor selection programs.
- Monitoring sales trends to determine where to focus recruitment efforts.
- Negotiating standard rates and contracts with vendors.
- Communicating vendor responsibilities and obligations.
- Daily prospecting activities, including Inbound and Outbound phone calls, emails, web-research, data-entry and data management in HubSpot and internal database.
- Ensure accurate collection, and entry of prospect/company data in HubSpot and internal database.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentations of call activities and details in HubSpot and internal database for the Vendor Onboarding.
- Deliver exceptional communication skills through phone, chat, and email for existing Vendors and Leads.
- Provide a positive and supportive experience on all point of interactions.
- Monitor compliance (updated insurance, required documents executed and in D1).
- Maintain vendors in Dispatch1. (remove inactive vendors etc)
Departmental Responsibilities
- Perform to established key performance metrics, including personal and team goals to contribute to and execute a strategy for Vendor Development.
- Working with Sales department in capturing project requirements.
- Documenting new and existing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Previous work experience as a Project Coordinator.
- Previous work experience as a Vendor Recruiter is a plus.

- Experience with Lead Generation preferred.

- Proven ability to multi-task within multiple software applications while communicating with vendors.
- Team oriented with good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with co-workers and other internal departments.
