Jr. IT Technical Coordinator

 Job Description:

We are looking for a versatile Junior Technical Coordinator. This role blends technical expertise with project coordination responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to leverage technical skills while ensuring smooth project delivery. As a Junior Technical Coordinator, you will oversee the technical aspects of support, manage network infrastructure, and coordinate project activities to effectively meet client demands. In this role, you will work closely with field technicians, IT project managers, clients, and end-user support to provide technical assistance and coordination, ensuring that network and technical services are delivered efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize strong technical skills across networking technologies, LAN/WAN, switching, routing, and cabling, ideally with Cisco certification.
  • Create and document technical processes, ensuring adherence and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure technical systems are functioning properly, promptly resolving technical issues, and meeting service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to meet technical requirements, monitor project timelines, and report progress.
  • Serve as a customer relations representative, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, engaging with third parties when needed for in-depth problem resolution.
  • Work closely with team members, contributing to discussions, assisting field technicians, and communicating progress updates.
  • Understand customer business requirements and contract scope, ensuring service delivery aligns with expectations.
  • Stay updated on new products, tools, and techniques, encouraging their use within the business to drive continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with project managers, technicians, and end-clients across all levels.
  • 1-2 years of experience in network support or technical coordination, showcasing proficiency in network technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Cisco Switches, Routers, and cabling.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and organizational skills in managing evolving project requirements, coupled with proven experience in administrative support or project coordination.
  • Flexibility with work schedules, including overtime, and a proactive attitude towards pursuing professional certifications like Cisco CCNA for career advancement.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 Suite, including Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office, essential for successful project collaboration and technical service delivery.

  • Team Collaboration, Adaptability & Initiative: Exhibits a proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, supporting field technicians, and actively contributing to discussions.
