Occupational Health and HR Coordinator (Company Nurse)

 Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Company Nurse with a background in Human Resources to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare services to our employees while also supporting HR functions to ensure a healthy and productive workplace.

Job Responsibilities:

Nursing Duties:

  • Administer first aid treatments and provide medications for employees as needed.
  • Assist injured employees and coordinate with hospitals for further medical care if necessary.
  • Maintain and update employee medical records.
  • Conduct health assessments and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Organize and assist with annual medical examinations for all employees.
  • Conduct health seminars and wellness programs.
  • Monitor and manage the inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

HR Duties:

  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Process and manage employee benefits, including sick leave and medical reimbursements.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of company policies and regulations.
  • Coordinate with outsourced service providers and manage related billings.
  • Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Assist in organizing HR-related events and activities.
  • Provide support to the HR team in various administrative tasks.
  • Prepare, track, and submit monthly health and safety reports to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in compliance with labor regulations.
  • Generate and track the enrollment and deletion reports for employee health and life insurance coverage, ensuring timely updates and documentation.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
  • Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) certification is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work onsite and full-time.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Empathy and a genuine concern for employee well-being.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and labor laws in the Philippines.
