About the job VP of Marketing

Role

As the VP of Marketing will be part of the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for the company's core marketing strategy and will share the responsibility to drive growth. You will contribute to the marketing team's vision, strategy, blueprint delivery and operations. You also must have proven experience in high-growth Technology and B2B companies, able to own all areas of marketing including demand generation, marketing, branding, communications, and channel marketing.

In addition, you will lead a team of marketing professionals, enabling marketing strategies and capabilities across all aspects of the business. You will be responsible for developing and driving market strategy for innovative products and services to support scaling for significant revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define overall product market strategy and roadmap to build and maintain a marketing plan ecosystem that offers a competitive advantage and mobilizes intuitive and personalized customer experience on all platforms.
  • Understand industry and innovative technology trends to effectively prioritize and apply existing and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving e-commerce models.
  • Lead and drive the implementation of the overall product marketing strategy.
  • Develop and expand the Companys loyalty program to achieve acquisition and retention goals.
  • Effectively articulate vision, inspiring and influencing others through the Company's Core Values: Authenticity, Growth, Knowledge, Community and Joy.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships and investments with leading digital, data and social platforms to deliver significant value to the enterprise.
  • Develop marketing goals and objectives that align with the overall company strategy for both short-term and long-term optimization.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • At least 10 years progressive experience leading marketing functions in SAAS or B2B internet companies
  • BA in Business, Marketing, or equivalent. MBA a plus.
  • Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of Digital marketing, driving improvements in customer acquisition, retention and customer experience.
  • Proven leadership abilities, developing talent through coaching, training, feedback and performance management.
  • Mastery of key leadership principles including: customer obsessed, having a data driven mindset, deliver results with a bias for action and sense of urgency, operate successfully with ambiguity / agile mindset, strive for continuous self-improvement, create and simplify, and visionary strategic thinking, taking extreme ownership.
  • Ability to foster relationships, collaborate with others and work effectively in teams.
  • Excellent business judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Impeccable integrity.
  • Articulate and persuasive written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • An ability to function both independently and in a team environment and communicate effectively with key stakeholders. Eagerness to join a lean team have high impact.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office suite and highly experienced MS Excel user.
