Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Professional to join our marketing agency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, strong negotiation abilities, and a deep understanding of marketing principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
Identify and research potential clients through various channels such as networking events, industry publications, and online platforms.
Develop and implement strategies to generate new leads and opportunities for business growth.
Conduct cold outreach and follow-up communications to initiate client engagements.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives.
Collaborate with clients to develop customized marketing solutions tailored to their goals and budget.
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, feedback, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
Proposal Development and Presentation:
Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches that showcase our agency's capabilities, expertise, and value proposition.
Present proposals to prospective clients in a clear and persuasive manner, addressing their specific requirements and concerns.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to close deals and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
Market Research and Analysis:
Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.
Analyze market data and client feedback to refine our service offerings and positioning in the market.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on strategic business development initiatives.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Leadership:
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and account management, to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
Foster a collaborative and supportive environment by sharing knowledge, best practices, and resources across teams.
Serve as a mentor and coach to junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
