Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Technician

Beverages Company in Baghdad is looking for a Maintenance Technician with experience in beverage manufacturing environments, specializing in automated filling lines and packaging equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery, troubleshooting technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and optimizing performance to minimize downtime

Location : Baghdad

Salary : 1,000,000 IQD

Job Responsibilities :

- Perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting on automated filling lines, packaging equipment, conveyors, and other factory machinery.

- Implement and adhere to a preventive maintenance schedule to minimize unplanned downtime and ensure smooth operation of equipment.

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in automated machinery and production lines. Work with minimal supervision to resolve breakdowns promptly.

- Monitor the performance of machinery, ensuring optimal efficiency, identifying areas for improvement, and working with the operations team to implement necessary adjustments.

- Conduct regular testing and calibration of equipment to ensure compliance with production standards and safety regulations.

- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work performed, equipment history, and any modifications or improvements made.

- Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations, including safe operation of machinery, lockout/tagout procedures, and handling of hazardous materials.

- Work closely with the production team and other departments to ensure seamless production processes, addressing technical issues that could impact product quality or output.

- Perform any other task required by management.
