IT Architect Consultant – Talent Pool

Talent Pool Overview:

Architecture roles are strongly requested by our clients, often at senior level. We are building a pool of Enterprise, Solution, Integration and Cloud Architects we can propose quickly for strategic missions. By joining, you will be among the first profiles we contact when a matching mission opens – as soon as a matching client request comes in.

Keystone Solutions is a Brussels-based IT consultancy and recruitment company – Bridging Technology & Talent. Organised in five practices (Management Consulting, IT Analysis, IT Development, IT Security and IT Infrastructure), we place experienced IT professionals on missions with leading organisations in Belgium, mainly in banking & insurance, federal and regional public institutions, utilities and industry.

Typical Mission Contexts:

• Enterprise architecture and IT roadmaps
• Solution and integration architecture (APIs, event-driven, middleware)
• Cloud architecture and migration (mainly Azure)
• Security-by-design and compliance (NIS2, GDPR)
• Architecture governance in large public and financial organisations

Typical Responsibilities:

• Define target architectures and IT roadmaps aligned with business strategy
• Design solutions and integration patterns; document architecture decisions
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security and governance
• Guide and challenge development teams and vendors
• Participate in architecture boards

Must-Have:

• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, including 3+ years in an architecture role
• Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks and modelling (TOGAF, ArchiMate)
• Experience with API / integration architecture
• Excellent communication with business and technical stakeholders

Nice-to-Have:

• Cloud architecture experience (Azure, AWS) and containers
• Knowledge of IAM, security architecture and NIS2
• Experience in banking, insurance or public sector
• Certifications: TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect or equivalent

Languages:

• Most of our clients operate in a bilingual environment: French and/or Dutch is required for the majority of missions, with a strong preference for bilingual FR/NL profiles
• Professional English is expected in most IT environments

Engagement Model:

Missions are typically medium to long term, full-time or part-time, on site or hybrid (usually 2–3 days on site). Depending on your preference, we work with you as a Keystone Solutions employee or as a freelance/subcontractor.

Location: Belgium – mainly Brussels, also Flanders and Wallonia depending on the mission. Hybrid work is common.
