Business Intelligence Specialist

Mission Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Specialist for a consultancy mission at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. The primary objective is to enhance the analytical capabilities of the client's platform by implementing business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect to various data sources and retrieve useful data.
• Transform the retrieved data to meet the requirements of the destination database (filtering, merging, aggregation, format changes, etc.).
• Inject transformed data into a decision-making database.
• Utilize a BI tool to analyze data, produce reports, and create dashboards.
• Conduct meetings and brainstorming sessions to understand concepts and rationalize them.
• Analyze available sources and existing reports (Excel and SAP BO).
• Model the decision-making database (conceptual model/star model) integrating various data sources.
• Finalize a Proof of Concept (POC) using Power BI Desktop to extract, transform, and load data.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the project.
• Document the work performed and develop loading procedures and consultation tools.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Business Intelligence and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of data sources and database schemas.
• Ability to analyze and consolidate data needs.
• Experience in developing data warehouses and associated structures.
• Excellent communication skills in French, both oral and written.
• Strong strategic vision and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Proven problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to challenges.
• Ability to plan work effectively, considering deadlines and priorities.
• Resilience under stress.
