Subject Matter Expert Finance

Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Subject Matter Expert in Finance. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be engaged in dynamic projects, bringing your expertise to diverse client environments and contributing to impactful assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on ICAAP (Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process) processes, governance, and regulatory compliance as part of Keystone Solutions’ consultancy model.
• Assess the robustness of capital planning, stress testing, and risk assessment frameworks for the client.
• Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate documentation, controls, and reporting in line with regulatory expectations.
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement in alignment with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Risk Management, or a related quantitative field.
• Professional audit certification (CIA) or another relevant certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
• At least 5 years of audit experience in the related field.
• Proven experience in ICAAP, Basel III, or capital adequacy within banking or financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of risk management, regulatory reporting, and audit methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of the banking/insurance sector or specific products (including market risk derivatives, etc.).
• Ability to deliver high-quality work on time and work within diversified procedures and standards.
• Experience in internal audit environments is preferable.
• Experience with BNPP tools and financial processes is an asset.
• Language requirements: working knowledge of Dutch and French, fluent in English.
• Soft skills: accuracy, strong analytical and synthesis skills, team spirit, risk awareness, autonomy, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Expectation: 50% on-site in Brussels and 50% homeworking.
