Role Overview

As a Cloud Engineer Medior, you'll play a key role in developing robust, scalable, and reusable cloud solutions for our client. Collaborating with developers and architects, youll ensure high-performance delivery of cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and maintain complex Azure infrastructures (IaaS and PaaS).
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Utilize Terraform and Bicep to design and automate cloud resources.
  • Optimize network performance and secure environments (firewalls, RBAC).
  • Monitor and diagnose resources using Azure Monitor.
  • Work in an Agile framework, contributing to sprint reviews and retrospectives.
  • Update technical documentation and architectural diagrams.

Qualifications and Skills

Technical Expertise

  • Cloud Platforms: Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Virtual Networks, Azure Monitor).
  • Automation Tools: Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell, Runbooks.
  • DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes (beginner level).
  • Network Security: Firewalls, RBAC.
  • Programming Skills: Bash scripting.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • AZ 900 (mandatory).
  • At least one of the following: AZ 104, Terraform, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).

Language Proficiency

  • French or Dutch: Excellent.
  • Second language (French/Dutch): Good.
  • English: Professional working proficiency.

Consultancy Traits

  • Ability to clearly explain advanced technical topics, with examples in the cloud domain.
  • Experience with pair programming and collaborative team environments.
  • Strong documentation and diagramming skills.

Mission Details

  • Location: Hybrid (23 days per week onsite).
  • Duration: Initial engagement with potential for extension (up to 880 working days).
  • Sector: Public transportation experience is a plus.
