Test Coordinator

Role Overview:
In this consultancy role, you will manage testing activities across critical software solutions that support ticketing, scheduling, and train management systems. Your role will be pivotal in planning, coordinating, and overseeing all testing activities, ensuring comprehensive quality assurance and customer satisfaction. Additionally, youll have the opportunity to coach client teams on enhancing quality practices within an evolving testing framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing Foundations:
  • Gather a solid understanding of the project scope to build effective test materials.
  • Review and clarify test documents to ensure a complete, consistent foundation for testing.
• Test Planning & Execution:
  • Develop and implement a test plan based on the established test strategy.
  • Define scope, testing methodology, risk identification, and entry/exit criteria.
  • Manage and coordinate testing activities, keeping a close eye on cost-effectiveness.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure quality adherence in test cases, issue logs, and reporting.
  • Prepare status reports with risk assessments, communicating updates to all stakeholders.
• Team Leadership and Coaching:
  • Coach the clients team and other testers on best practices and quality improvement methods.
  • Act as a proactive resource for quality improvements within the testing process.
  • Work alongside other Test Coordinators to enhance testing processes across projects.

Your Profile and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a Test Coordinator, with hands-on testing experience.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a background in guiding both on-site and offshore teams.
• Diplomatic, assertive communicator with strong analytical skills.
• Proactive problem-solver, able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Skilled in diverse testing methodologies and practices, with knowledge of automation concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Understanding of backend and frontend communications in software systems.
• Fluent in English and proficient in Dutch or French.
