Full Stack Developer (Java & App Security)

Mission Overview:

We are seeking a Java Developer to join our consultancy team at Keystone Solutions. This position involves working directly at our client's site, the Vlaamse Sociale Bescherming (VSB), and offers a unique opportunity to engage in impactful consultancy work. As a consultant, you will be part of a dynamic environment where you will develop and maintain applications, ensuring effective communication between various systems and supporting critical services for our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications for the Vlaamse Sociale Bescherming (VSB) using Java and Java EE technologies.
• Ensure seamless communication between external ZK applications and VSB applications via web services on the Digital Platform.
• Manage member information, including registrations, contributions, and exemptions within the Ledenbeheer system.
• Store and distribute evaluation attestations for VSB rights through the AVR system.
• Automatically allocate support budgets for individuals with disabilities using the eBOB system.

Skills/Profile:

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development with a strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture.
• Proficient in Java EE/Jakarta EE and/or Spring Boot, with experience in relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with deployment platforms based on Kubernetes, preferably OpenShift.
• Competent in using GIT Version Management and working within Agile, Scrum methodologies.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working independently and collaborating effectively with colleagues and project management.
• Proficiency in Dutch (NL) is absolutely mandatory.
