Service description:

The digital services landscape of our client has grown organically over time, leading to various approaches to service management across different teams. While basic processes exist, the current situation presents challenges in terms of efficiency, scalability, and consistency. This consultancy project aims to establish a standardized service management operating model that will streamline operations and enhance service delivery.

The need for this transformation arises from current operational challenges, specifically the need for transparent service management to adapt to dynamically changing technologies and customer demands. It is crucial to establish clear handoffs and definitions of roles, especially for onboarding service users.

Through this consultancy engagement, we aim to establish clear, standardized processes for each of these phases while ensuring practical applicability and operational efficiency.

1. Formulate target picture of Operating Model (Level 0 and 1, group)

1. Detail specific processes (Level 3 and 4)
   1. Detailed workflows
   2. Decision points, exception handling and operational guidelines
   3. Interaction with IT system
   4. Detailed task descriptions
   5. Templates and checklists for each phase
   6. Reporting metrics, mechanisms and templates

1. Analysis of existing processes of Operating Model (at least level 1); level 1 and 2 includes:
   1. High-level process flows covering main process groups
   2. Role and responsibility, governance model
   3. Performance indicators (high-level KPIs)
   4. Inputs, outputs, and process triggers
   5. Systems and tools used in the process
   6. High-level process pain points and improvement areas

1. Detailed revision of existing processes

1. Implementation plan
   1. Gap-analysis (to-be vs. as-is) to identify processes that require standardization
   2. Impact and effort analysis for implementation of these processes
   3. Implementation plan (e.g. processes to standardize, required resources, time planning, ...)

Requirements:

Key technical requirements

• Experience in requirement engineering, product management, and project management processes, especially for IT Infrastructure
• Proficiency in analysing IT requirement/demand management and portfolio management processes (including e.g., Change Evaluation, Service Catalog Management, Demand Management, Capacity Management, Service Level (SLA) management)
• Proficiency in designing IT Services
• Experience in Organizational Development (especially Turnaround) in that area

• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
• Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
• High customer orientation
• Analytical approach to problem-solving and a track record of driving results through continuous improvement
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to introduce creative and innovative solutions
• Ability to navigate a complex stakeholder environment

Additional information:

• Location: Brussels with occasional (2-3 per month) travel to Berlin
• Work regime: 85% (30 hours)

• Hold a valid residence permit confirming the right of residence in Belgium.

• • For a PO created at 50Hertz, the General Purchasing Conditions, short version, as of Jul-21 apply. The Specific Purchasing Conditions Short version Germany as of Jul-21 shall also apply in addition to the above conditions, which can be found on our website.
• Our client at all times needs to maintain the flexibility to switch the location of the PO. In case of a change, the local tender process must be respected.
