Mission Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CMDB and ITIL Process Documentation Specialist to join our IT Service Management team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) process documentation as a Keystone Solutions consultant at our client’s site.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. CMDB Management
    • Maintain and update the CMDB to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
    • Ensure all configuration items (CIs) are correctly logged, tracked, and managed.
    • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure integration and synchronization of CMDB data.
    • Perform regular audits and reconciliation of CMDB data to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.
  2. ITIL Process Documentation
    • Develop, review, and maintain ITIL process documentation including Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Configuration Management processes.
    • Ensure documentation aligns with ITIL best practices and standards.
    • Collaborate with process owners and stakeholders to capture requirements and document process workflows.
    • Create user guides, training materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ITIL processes.
  3. Process Improvement
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations.
    • Monitor and measure the performance of ITIL processes and report on key metrics.
  4. Training and Support
    1. Conduct training sessions for IT staff and stakeholders on CMDB and ITIL processes.
    2. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure adherence to documented processes.
    3. Serve as a subject matter expert for CMDB and ITIL process documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Service Management, with a focus on CMDB and ITIL process documentation.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is required; advanced ITIL certifications are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL best practices and principles.
  • Proficiency in using CMDB tools and IT Service Management software.
  • Excellent documentation and technical writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Working Schedule:

This mission is on a fixed budget for the year 2025. Based on daily rates, we are open to a flexible work schedule and part-time, with a minimum of 3 days per week. Our home working policy requires a minimum of 3 days worked in the office per week. In case of part-time, the minimum is two days in the office.


Additional Information:

The mission can be extended for a maximum duration (including the initial period) of 880 working days.
