Mission Overview:
We are seeking a Project Leader for a consultancy mission at a client site, representing Keystone Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the follow-up, planning, and adjustment of construction, maintenance, and multidisciplinary projects. Your goal will be to support contractors, the leading official, or the project leader to ensure these projects are completed in a qualitative manner and in accordance with legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support contractors, the leading official, or project leader during project execution and coordinate and follow up with contractors on smaller (maintenance) projects to ensure optimal project flow.
- Coordinate and align the work between various executing parties.
- Perform necessary administration to grant employees access to sites and prepare for larger projects.
- Follow up on necessary accesses and administrative conditions for external parties, including CheckIn@Work and Limosa where applicable.
- Provide necessary documents (plans, VGWs, etc.) to contractors.
- Ensure that necessary work permits and practical conditions for execution are in order.
- Inform about the evolution and problems during the execution of works.
- Technically follow up on the work and timely involve the right internal parties when technical alignment is needed.
- Track and register technical and administrative changes and milestones in the technical file during and after the works to ensure correct file follow-up.
- Ensure that changes during execution are recorded in the construction file.
- Document executed works (photo archive, reports, etc.).
- Report significant changes to the project leader.
- Act as a point of contact for contractors on site and ensure good information flow between various parties (internal and external) to proactively detect conflicts (planning, quality, location, etc.) and propose solutions.
- Serve as the first point of contact during the execution phase and ensure good coordination between the various involved parties.
- Chair contractor meetings and provide input on site meetings.
- Escalate problems if necessary.
- Advise on issues and involve the necessary and right parties to make decisions.
- Contribute to safety policy by ensuring compliance with safety regulations (e.g., site regulations and KB TMB), collaborating on prevention policy, and gathering all necessary information to ensure safety within projects/sites in accordance with applicable guidelines and legal obligations.
- Prepare post-intervention files, safety & health plans, and coordination diaries for the design and realization phase.
- Create permits for hazardous work and evaluate task risk analyses. Hold kick-off meetings and ensure that the correct PPE is used.
- Conduct kick-off and toolbox meetings and ensure that the safety standards of Keystone Solutions are applied.
- Monitor practical site conditions, including PPE, behavior on site, and waste management.
- Detect improvements and apply lessons learned to ensure continuous optimization of work on existing and new sites.
- Draft unusual incident reports, incident notifications, and fact analyses.
- Initiate improvement proposals and develop measures within the work domain.
- Improve, set up, and roll out processes and working methods.
- Prepare toolboxes.
- Stay updated on legislation and maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding relevant safety standards, guidelines, and new developments (within your field) to have the most current insights and information.
- Read professional literature.
- Stay informed about new developments within respective fields.
- Follow training courses.
