Mission Context:

Within the framework of a strategic Nearshoring program, our client is seeking a Senior External Project/Process Manager to ensure the deployment of the Nearshoring program in close collaboration with a Global Project Manager. You will report to the COO Benelux. The role covers:

  • Local coordination of Nearshoring projects (build & transition phases)
  • Business as Usual (BaU) management for already transferred activities
  • Operational performance and SLA monitoring

This position is critical to securing the client’s business, regulatory, and operational commitments.


Responsibilities (Consultancy Model):

  • Assist operational managers to identify activities to nearshore, animate workshops, and challenge assumptions.
  • Contribute to assessments, scope definition, and transition roadmaps.
  • Perform end-to-end impact analyses covering processes, organization, volumes, legal, compliance, and risk dimensions.
  • Coordinate transition phases to nearshore centers, ensuring service continuity.
  • Ensure strict change management processes and proper project documentation follow-up.
  • Define and monitor the overall project plan, capacity, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor dependencies between projects, BaU activities, and local teams.
  • Oversee Business as Usual operations for nearshored activities.
  • Define, monitor, and report on SLAs, KPIs, and performance indicators.
  • Analyze performance gaps and define remediation action plans.
  • Work closely with Operations, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams.
  • Identify and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to end-to-end process optimization, aligned with efficiency, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Capitalize on lessons learned and feedback (RETEX).

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in financial services, operations/back-office, or transformation, outsourcing, or nearshoring programs.
  • Proven operational process improvement, end-to-end process descriptions, and SLA/operational performance monitoring experience.
  • Experience in IT-enabled environments or digital processes, and multi-entity or international programs is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of business, operational, and regulatory constraints in financial institutions.
  • Experience in consumer credit or regulated financial services is an asset.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent.
  • Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, SAFe, etc.) are an asset.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in French and English; spoken Dutch is required.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Expected split: 60% on-site – 40% remote.
