Subject Matter Expert Internal Credit Models

Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Subject Matter Expert in internal credit models. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be engaged in dynamic projects, bringing your expertise to diverse client environments and contributing to impactful assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Act as an internal audit expert with specialized knowledge in internal model regulations, techniques, and frameworks, in addition to audit competence.
• Carry out all responsibilities under Keystone Solutions’ consultancy model, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Risk Management, or a related quantitative field.
• Professional audit certification (CIA) or another relevant certification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
• At least 6 years of experience in accounts reporting, control, or consolidation processes/products.
• Deep understanding of CRR3 (Article 191), EGIM (EBA Guidelines on Internal Governance), and other relevant EU/ECB regulations (e.g., EBA/GL/2023/02, Basel III/IV frameworks).
• More than 3 years of experience in auditing or validating Internal Ratings-Based (IRB) models (PD, LGD, EAD, CCF) under Pillar 1 requirements.
• Proven track record in auditing complex credit risk models, including challenging methodologies, data integrity, and compliance.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills for effective reporting to (senior) management.
• Working knowledge of Dutch and French; fluent in English.
• Experience with BNPP tools and financial processes is an asset.
• Experience within BNPP environment is preferable.
• Soft skills: accuracy, analytical and synthesis skills, team spirit, risk awareness, autonomy, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Expectation: 50% on-site in Brussels and 50% homeworking.
