Scrum Master Consultant

Mission Overview:

This opportunity is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Scrum Master Expert. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be engaged in dynamic projects, working on-site and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value in an agile environment. You will bring your expertise to client projects while embodying the values and ambition of a true K-Stone.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Retrospective) and other meetings.
• Schedule and follow the key steps of the Scrum methodology.
• Guarantee a smooth use of the Scrum methodology and help the Project Team face any obstacles.
• Provide assistance or support to the Product Owner concerning the Product Backlog.
• Assist and support the team in the delivery of the Definition of Done (DoD), Sprint Backlog, etc.
• Track team capacity and velocity metrics for planning and progress purposes.
• Coach and challenge the Project Team.
• Help the Project Team face any difficulties and promote its gradual self-organization.
• Remove barriers to team effectiveness and protect the team from outside distractions.
• Act as an ambassador of agile methods within the company.
• Provide reporting to superiors on the proper deployment of the Scrum methodology within projects.
• Risk and issue management.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile role.
• Knowledge of agile reporting and follow-up tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
• Understanding of tooling on automated unit testing, automated functional testing, and continuous integration tooling.
• Sound knowledge of software development methodology.
• Sound knowledge of project management methodology.
• Expert knowledge of agile methodology and techniques (e.g. Kanban).
• Scrum Master certification.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to look beyond day-to-day objectives and enable actions in line with IT strategy.
• Fluency in English with good knowledge; Dutch and French are assets.
• Expectation: 50% on site and 50% homeworking.
• Experience working in cross-functional agile teams, with flexibility to contribute to various disciplines as needed.
