Process Engineer Consultant

Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Process Engineer within the Transformation Office. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise and our values to every engagement.

Mission Context:

You will join the Risk & Credits tribe, supporting the client’s goal to deliver digital, transparent, simple, timely, sustainable, and compliant lending solutions. Your primary focus will be supporting the Consumer Loans squad, with priority on implementing the Consumer Credit Directive 2 (CCD2), a modernized EU regulation for consumer credit, including new products such as Buy Now, Pay Later and micro-lending tools.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse, design, and implement new processes or parts of processes (process modelling).
• Make necessary changes to existing processes and continuously improve business processes, measuring and evaluating their performance.
• Provide expertise in methods and tools for continuous improvement and change management, in addition to study and analysis capacities.
• Contribute to defining requirements and testing application changes related to process improvements.
• Define needs for and test changes to applications, ensuring alignment with process improvements.
• Liaise and communicate with all involved stakeholders, including operational teams, to ensure successful implementation.
• Create and maintain clear, accessible documentation to standardize implementation, resolve incidents, and support adjustments.
• Ensure processes and documentation comply with internal and external guidelines (Legal, Compliance, Permanent Control, General Inspection, etc.).

Agile Way of Working:

• Be part of a multidisciplinary team (Squad or Cluster of Squads) responsible for defining, building, testing, and implementing products or services within set timeframes.
• Help the team deliver planned sprint stories, contributing beyond your specific area of expertise, with priorities set by the Product Owner.
• Organize your work independently, estimating the scope and complexity of tasks.
• Commit to work planned for each sprint or trimester, participating in Agile Ceremonies including Quarterly Agile Planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Good or fluent command of French, Dutch, and English.

Technical Experience:

• Mandatory: Knowledge of process management tools and MS Office.
• Preferable: Experience with Visio, BPM, and Agile methodology.

Business Experience:

• Mandatory: Knowledge of process improvement methods and techniques, experience in process management, and translating legal requirements into processes/products.
• Preferable: Experience in Risk & Credits (financial sector) and writing business requirements.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to structure and model processes.
• Efficient facilitator and communicator (oral and written).
• Strong ability to convince, influence, and negotiate.
• Driven and tenacious in finding creative solutions.

Work Location & Telework:

• Based in Brussels, with an expectation of 40% on-site and 60% homeworking.
