Job Openings Solution Architect

About the job Solution Architect

Mission Overview:

Join Keystone Solutions as a consultant on a client engagement to deliver Solution Architecture within a large-scale customer-facing IT landscape. The mission focuses on a Future Proof Passenger Information (FPPI) program environment, covering commercial channels and products, passenger information systems, and systems for stations, facilities, and buildings. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will define solution architectures, bridge stakeholders, and guide teams to make conscious decisions with clear trade-offs and risks, ensuring the solution evolves in line with business guardrails.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Keystone Solutions consultant, it is your responsibility to ensure that the architecture of the products you're assigned to is sound, well-understood and continues to evolve in a direction that best support the business case and follows the existing guardrails.
  • To a great extent, that means facilitating the architectural debate, ensuring the architectural decisions are made consciously and its trade-offs (or derived risks) are well understood, both internally (towards the involved teams) as externally (towards our client's stakeholders).
  • You're a key partner that works between business stakeholders, IT managers, enterprise architects, domain architects and delivery teams.
  • You ensure that the solution architecture is correctly implemented by validating the solution design and following up its implementation.
  • You also ensure knowledge is shared across your colleagues.
  • You evaluate project constrains to find alternatives, alleviate risks, and perform re-engineering if required.
  • You update stakeholders about any issues connected to the architecture.
  • You take care of the architectural analysis of epics.

Role Context (Consultancy Engagement):

  • Customer Experience Solution is responsible for customer-facing IT systems of our client, including commercial channels and products, passenger information systems and systems for stations, facilities and buildings.
  • As a solution architect you are responsible to define solution architectures in the FPPI program.
  • You have the ability to grasp the complexity associated with large scale systems, and break it down into simpler, understandable bits towards both engineers as well as business stakeholders.
  • You're able to facilitate the architectural processes, identifying desired qualities and constraints, ensuring risks and trade-offs are discussed within the team(s) and guiding business and IT management to take informed decisions.
