Procurement Manager

Position: Procurement Manager

Type of Business: Construction & Civil Engineering / General Contractor

Location: Ratchadapisek Road, Klongtoey, Bangkok (BTS/MRT Asoke)

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Monday – Friday : 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, subcontractors, and related services
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project schedules to support procurement planning
• Coordinate with construction and engineering teams to ensure timely material and equipment delivery
• Source suppliers and subcontractors while leading price and commercial negotiations
• Monitor procurement schedules, supplier performance, and procurement-related risks
• Coordinate closely with engineering, QA/QC, planning, and site operation teams
• Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier relationships
• Support cost control and ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and quality standards
• Direct reporting line to Japanese Managing Director
• Opportunity to work with an international construction company with Japanese management standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fields
• 10–15 years of practical experience in construction site operations, civil works, or construction project execution
• Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment utilization, subcontractor management, and temporary works
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project schedules
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, subcontract coordination, or contract administration within construction projects is highly preferred
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to balance technical requirements, project urgency, quality standards, and budget control
• Familiarity with local suppliers and subcontractor markets is an advantage
• Language Requirements Thai: Native level / English: Good command
