About the Role
We are seeking a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (P.E.) with expertise in mechanical system design for healthcare and K-12 projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Revit and a passion for delivering high-performance mechanical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems for healthcare and educational facilities.
- Develop detailed Revit models and construction documents.
- Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Conduct site visits, assess existing systems, and provide engineering recommendations.
- Perform load calculations, energy analysis, and system optimization.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national building codes.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and coordination with clients.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required (Texas preferred or ability to obtain).
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in building design.
- Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard design tools.
- Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, and healthcare facility standards.
- Experience working on healthcare and K-12 projects.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
